KUCCPS uses weighted cluster points to determine the cut off points for individual courses. Here is how to calculate your weighted cluster points.

KUCCPS has revised the weighted cluster points formula. The board uses weighted cluster points to determine the cut off points for individual courses. Applicants will be required to pass weighted cluster point pursue a course of their  choice.

To get the weighted cluster points, you need to determine:
    1. Sum of the Performance index of all the relevant cluster subjects for the candidate. (r)
    2. Sum of the maximum performance index of the relevant cluster subjects used. (m)
    3. Sum of the performance index of the 7 required subjects for the candidate. (api)
    4. Sum of the maximum subject performance index of the 7 candidates subjects. (spi)

    Please Note:

K.N.E.C. will forward the performance index (PI) per subject for each candidate to KUCCPS.
To make the process of calculating the weighted cluster points using the new formula easy, KUCCPS  has provided an online tool which candidates can use after logging into the online revision system.
